Scope
These Terms & Conditions (the “T&C”) apply to all users (the “User”) of the Piinuts service provided by UTY3 Sàrl, located in Villars-sur-Glâne (hereinafter: “UTY3”). They also govern the sale of subscriptions to the Piinuts service. The T&C are available at all times on the Piinuts website. The User is deemed to have accepted these T&C upon subscribing to a plan or using Piinuts services. UTY3 reserves the right to amend these T&C at any time. In the event of changes, the User will be informed as of the effective date. By continuing to use Piinuts, the User is deemed to accept the updated T&C.
Services offered
Piinuts is a SaaS service providing data anonymization tools and a chat feature based on an OpenAI AI model. Two plans are available:
Trial plan: free, limited to a total of 30,000 characters.
Pro plan: limited to 2 million characters per month, billed at CHF 49.95 incl. VAT per month.
The minimum subscription term for the Pro plan is 1 month. At the end of this period, the subscription is automatically renewed for an additional 1 month.
User obligations
By using Piinuts, the User certifies that they:
Are at least 18 years old;
Provide accurate information during registration;
Comply with these terms and all applicable laws.
One account is reserved for one human user. Excessive or abusive usage may result in account suspension. By using Piinuts, the User expressly authorizes UTY3 to use the name and logo of their company, organization, or association for communication and marketing purposes.
Character usage calculation and quota management
Each plan includes a defined number of usable characters, and character usage is calculated as follows:
Piinuts anonymization model: each character sent to the model is considered used and deducted from the User’s plan quota.
OpenAI services: each character is counted twice:
Once when sending data to the model.
A second time when receiving the response generated by the API.
File: each character is counted when downloading the anonymized file.
Quota management is handled via the Stripe platform, ensuring transparent and secure billing.
Hosting and anonymization models
The anonymization models are hosted on a dedicated server managed by UTY3, located at Infomaniak in Switzerland. Data is processed only temporarily for anonymization and is not stored. When processing a full document, data is stored temporarily for a maximum of 3 hours. The User may delete a document at any time. Stored data is backed up on a server at Infomaniak.
Intellectual property
The User retains intellectual property rights to their data and content. UTY3 does not claim any intellectual property rights over the data, but reserves the right to use any remarks or suggestions provided by the User to improve its services.
Pricing and overages
Subscriptions are billed in CHF and include all applicable taxes (incl. VAT). If the monthly quota is exceeded under the Pro plan, additional characters are billed at CHF 0.00005 per character.
Payments and subscription management
Subscriptions and payments are managed via Stripe, a secure platform compliant with PCI DSS standards.
Quota overage
Under the Pro plan, if the monthly quota is exceeded, overage fees are billed automatically on the next month’s invoice via Stripe.
Termination
The User may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current subscription period.
Limitation of liability
UTY3 disclaims any liability in the event of data loss, service interruptions, or errors.
Applicable law
These T&C are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Fribourg, Switzerland.
